Thoughts? Living in Reno, NV. it's the only thing I can find. The 16 year is quite nice... But whisky is pricey here to begin with, so opinions are welcome.

If that's the one, then it's a pleasant sort of Highland pour. Good core of sweet malt (with pineapple overtones). Smooth. A little bit of a ginger-oak twist toward the finish. Nothing terribly complex, mind you. But very drinkable.

I like the Ancnoc 12 (it is about $35 here) and find it reasonable for that price.

Agree on the AnConc 12. It's pleasant, easy drinker.
