Let me expand on some thoughts from the previous thread.

It is very true - the vast majority of the folks here are enthusiasts for whiskies. I don't believe that having access to a Canadian distillery person is going to help you on this. What you really need a bunch of enthusiasts for Canadian whiskies and not just whiskies in general. If your question was on bourbons, I would send you to straightbourbon.com. At this time, I do not know of such a group for Canadian whiskey and I am not claiming that there isn't one.

The other source for information on some of these unique whiskies is to start asking questions to the auction houses like Bonhams.
