Found a bottle of J&B Ultima for $99.00. Just wondering if anyone has tried it and if it worth a go.

Definitely 'worth a go' as far as I'm concerned. But you have to be a believer in the whole concept of blended whiskies to really enjoy it.

This was, as far as I'm aware, a '1-off' melding of 128 different malt and grain whiskies. It's certainly a fine pour, with a lot of subtleties emerging as you sip your way through it. Smooth as silk, too. A real class act!

Thank you for the input. I do buy into the concept of blended whisky (good whisky is good whisky) and accordingly have picked this one up.
