Royal Salute release question

[Novice Scotch Fan]

I used to be a big fan of Royal Salute, however, the recent bottling I picked up was a disappointment. There are some markings at the rear and near the bottom of the bottle: 2010 / 10 / 28

I presume that indicates the bottling date of Oct. 28, 2010. Just wondering so I can avoid it in the future.
