JW whisky man walking from right to left

I scrolled through a couple of these discussions so i hope im not repeating the question.
I need to know. I have a guy advertising that he has a rare JW black,unopened,which is rare (man walking from right to left). He wants about 50 times more for the bottle as it would cost in the liqiur store.
I need to know how will i determine if this is not fake. Should there be a date,or serial; number perhaps.
What year was these bottles manufactured,if ever.
