I have a 18 year Glenfiddich, I'm thinking about keep it sealed for a couple years then open it. Is the taste gonna be better or the wine is gonna go bad? Help please.
from what i've read, unlike wine, whisky does NOT mature in the bottle. so once it leaves the cask, it can be drunk now or in 40 years and not make a difference.

"Maturation" with whisky is the interaction of the spirit and the wood, so no, whisky can't mature in glass. However, over time the whisky can alter. Something called old bottle effect (OBE).
It generally happens with exposure to air. So the less air in the bottle, the longer it lasts. From what I've heard, once a bottle gets down to around a quarter remaining, it should be finished quickly or it will oxidize. Over half full, and it should still store indefinitely.
