Macallan - Anniversary Malt - 1928 50 year old

Postby Eldoras » Thu Sep 19, 2013 6:19 pm

Hi all,

I have heard that for The Macallan - Anniversary Malt - 1928 50 year old, it comes with a personal letter of authenticity from the then chairman of Macallan Allan G. Shiach.

May I ask if all bottles have the letter or only some of them?

Also does anyone have a picture of how it look like?

Currently I have a bottle of it, but I do not have the letter. Does this mean that it is fake? Or just the specific bottle does not come with it, or it is misplaced?

I would have expected all of them to come with a letter. However, it would not surprise me if this letter got lost through the years.
