I saw this at a local shop today and have never seen it before and I am having trouble finding much online about it too. Whe was it produced how much is it worth?

Its an old bottling worth at least 60, possibly up to 100 euro or more.
Personally, I'd love a few.
Jump on them.

The 10 & 12-year old Macallans are certainly worthy of your attention, given they're being replaced by the new range of no-age-statement releases (Gold, Amber, Sienna & Ruby) "in many markets".

A friend of mine saw bottle like these in Cyprus last November and I'm sure he said that they were retailing at something like 90 euros.
If that was the case then the retailer is certainly "clued up".

In my neck of the woods (where the 12-year old IS disappearing from the shelves as it's replaced by the newer, no-age-statement Macallans), the Amber (2nd from the bottom price-wise) goes for approximately the same amount as the 12-year old did. In contrast, the Ruby (top-of-the-new-line of no-age-statement releases) is even more expensive than the 18-year old matured in Sherry oak.
