glenlivet 12yr old unblended scotch malt whisky

I've recently inherited a whisky collection and : would like to know the value of this if any .thank you for your help.

My best guess is that your bottle dates from the early to mid 1960s (before the age indication on the label changed from a worded one to a numerical one).

I have no idea of the potential value.

A plus is that the whiskies incorporated in the bottling would likely have been distilled during the 1950s. A negative is that this is, when all is said and done, a standard issue that continues to be released in large quantities to this day.

You would likely be best served by inquiring at one of the well known auction houses or a reputable retailer. Be aware that overall condition (including a good fill level into the neck) is of primary importance.

theres a similar bottle on the whisky exchange to have a look at
but i think the price is over the top and its been there a while
you can put any price you like doesnt meen its going to sell :headbang:

shops charge vat at twenty per cent plus running costs so it drops the price down a bit as well as they wont give you top price

best to try mctears or bonhams for a valuation :thumbsup:

i collect some glenlivets and i dont have a cllue of price best of luck :?
