I am brand new to this forum so an advanced "thank you" for any and all help.
My father in law passed away a few years back and as my wife andI were helping sort through his belongings we came across a 750ml bottle of Glen Moray Scotch Whiskey that was distiller in 1962. This whiskey is in a wooden box and there is a certificate of authenticity inside the box with the number "174" typed on it.
Certain family members are eager to tear into this bottle but I am very reluctant to do so. This bottle appears to have some value but I just don't know what.
Can someone clue me in to what I really have here?
