Chivas Regal info please?

Postby Lealani » Mon Jul 14, 2014 10:12 am

Hello guys, I am new to the world of whiskey. Today I stumbled across 2 bottles of Chivas Regal (in boxes) in a friends cupboard. She thinks they are about 25 years old. They are both 12 year olds, but have very different boxes and labels (obtained in Australia). I am wondering is there some way I can find out more info on the bottles?, is there a collectors group somewhere?, is there a history of labels somewhere online?, are they better off kept as a collector or drunk?. Any information you can share with me would be greatly appreciated!! thank you for your time, regards Lani

Chivas Regal is a blend and these are not much collected or valued. At auction these bottles well probably attract more or less what a new bottle will cost, perhaps a little more if you're lucky. If you like whisky, drink them.
