EDRADOUR

EDRADOUR 10- recently came across the old expression with the watercolour label for $53.I didn't buy it because I'm not a huge fan of the current expression,which I find interesting and flavorful but not what I want from a scotch.I then came across a writer who thought the new style was "bigger than the old style,and a bit heavy on the sherry"(DAVE BROOM).This made me think that maybe I would prefer the older expression.So, for those of you who have tried both could you please compare them. thank you.

Bought some last year (April 2001) and it was really good.

Don't know if it was the new edition or not.

It was fairly fat and not paticularly tall.

I'm not sure if that is your idea of squat.

thats the new expression,the older one had a watercolor painting on the label.

Decided to buy it.Don't plan on opening it until I meet someone who REALLY likes Edradour.

Hi,

I do love Edradour, and found some Signatory bottles from 1976, and as you know they only bottle single cask single malt whiekies.
Very much enjoyable........
