Hi,
I'd like to know what you think about
the "Mac Kullick's" single casks collection ?
I've just bought a Caol Ila 1989 bottled in
2001 from this collection, and i am quite
happy because i really like this whisky
(tastes a bit like a Bowmore 12 years
old, with a little something special very
appetizing in addition), and i think the
price is correct (30 euros).
But i found its tastes quite different than
the description of the Caol Ila 12 years old
from the Michael Jackson guide, and i don't
know if it comes from me (i am not a
"pro" !) or from the whisky.
If you have tasted the other whiskies from
Mac Kullick's (Dalmore, Highlang Park,
Rosebank e.g.), could you tell me what you
think about them ?
I am quite interested buy the match you
could have made between these ones and
the "classic 12 years old versions" of
them...
for you, what are the best (in variety,
quality, and "prices not too high" also !)
single malt collections ?
Thank you,
Stephane
