Macallan-the official statement

Tried to post this message on the decline of the Macallan forum about an hour ago - but for some reason although the forum shows a new posting at the time, the actual posting has not appeared. Weird Huh? Or maybe something more sinister??

Any way, let's try again. My spies tell me that at last Macallan have made an official statement in Whisky Magazine's latest issue

Er, does that include the re-bottled Gordon & McPhail stuff?

I have to agree that Grouse is a nice blend. I used to drink J&B but after two very insipid bottles (bought in September and October), I gave up and bought something else that tasted more like scotch. BTW, looking back at this thread, Loch dhu is mannochmore whisky with lots of caramel added. The company that produced it was forced to take it off the market. I think it is called 'conning the consumers'!
