Are postings being censored?

Postby Rudolph Hucker » Tue Nov 26, 2002 4:33 pm

In the past few days, the number of postings on the Decline of the Macallan thread has gone up from 56 or 57 to 63, but the last posting shown is still one dated November 1.

I tried to post a message yesterday, and although the system told me the message had been accepted,it never appeared.

Aidan has commented in a couple of his postings about the same thing.

Has anyone else posted messages that have not been shown? Are some messages being with-held? If so, it would be interesting to know why?

Cheers

Well, I think all the messages appear, but some people can't see them. I can't see the posts I posted about the problem even. I think it must be somethign to do with cookie settings on the computer, but I've deleted them and still can't see anything.

Iain

Is Huurman's message on the Decline of the Macallan thread? If not, which topic is it on?

I can see up to date postings on some threads but not on the Decline thread

Cheers

Haven't received WM 28 yet. So I'm patiently waiting for that one...Just to see how this turned out in the magazine.

I have to agree that Grouse is a nice blend. I used to drink J&B but after two very insipid bottles (bought in September and October), I gave up and bought something else that tasted more like scotch. BTW, looking back at this thread, Loch dhu is mannochmore whisky with lots of caramel added. The company that produced it was forced to take it off the market. I think it is called 'conning the consumers'!

The Macallan thread can be a bit difficult, but I had been thinking that that was because it was getting so long, as the postings do come up eventually (on my PC at any rate). Maybe starting a "Decline of the Macallan II" thread to continue the debate might help.
