whisky to drink in 2013

Postby Graeme Alderson » Wed Feb 19, 2003 12:13 am

I have just had a bet with someone today on his 30th. The stake is a bottle of (at the youngest) 1973 whisky, to be paid on my friends 40th ie in 10 years time. Has anyone any suggestions as to what to buy now that will be good for drinking in 10 years. Obviously the cheaper the better but quality does count.

I would say all the whiskies will last 10 years if stored well (no light, no heat). Glenrothes is the least expensive that I could found, Glen Scotia could be another alternative. Ardbeg is much more expensive ... *sigh*
