Soemthing I patched up in the collectors corner a few days back...
Anything between 25 & 40 Y.O. fires my imagination and avarice. Any angle on where and how much?
'Hi I am curious about tha qualities of the 1966 'Local Barley' Springbank and the 40 Y.O Millenium Issue Springbank. I would be interested in any input regards availability, collectability, value and assessment... from European, American or Antipodean quarters. I have sampled the 45 Y.O. Millenium issue from Springbank finding it faded and brittle... the 25 Y.O. was exceptional presenting some nuance that suggested further age would further broaden... the 40 Y.O. tantalises me.'
Hi Ian, I started collecting from the 30 yo and had a big problem with the 35yo but fortunately sourced one at Milroys. I had just got my 40yo still looking for the 25yo when I happened to see one at the duty free at Prestwick Airport at 7am. My flight was leaving and the tills were time coded till 7 and they were shouting for me to board. Thankfully the lass had already wrapped it and standing with my card ready to swipe on the dot of 7 I secured my bottle as well as my mother in law having kittens on the plane. Thankfully I have got the full collection and the miniatures. If you cannot find a 35yo please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org Slainthe John
