5000 bottles seems a lot for a limited edition....perhaps 2 bottles per committee member would've been nice or am I just being greedy !

That's the sort of thing you should ask our resident whisky tout - it's scum who hoover up bottlings just for getting instant profit on ebay who spoil it for everyone.

Your difficulty is that they are limiting orders to one per Ardbeg committee member. The chances are that if you find someone who is able to buy a bottle, they will want it for themselves.

You need to thank the people who bought up the last Committee bottle just to put it on ebay for five times the price the next week.

As I say, ask our resident whisky tout what he thinks about your predicament.

If you've read any of my posts you know how I feel about Ebay and touts. But with Ardbeg not shipping to Canada and the States whisky touts maybe the only way our friends over there can obtain a bottle!

Just done mine, but didn't change the postage option.

I do hope the bottles comes complete with two diesel volve penta engines to navigate the straigths, at the change of tide its probably the scariest place i've been.

The odd thing is the Whirlpool really is nowhere near Islay, ah well.

Cannot get my head around why we get so excited about these OB's when there are so many older single cask IB's around that are rarer and often better both in taste and value terms.

Bamber I think we get so excited because it is an official bottling. And I love the little pointy bit on the bottom rim of the bottle. It really looks the business.

I find it very interesting Ardbeg have used the Corryvreckan as their theme for the bottle. The label is very pretty.

With the whirly video on the site now, saying "Chapter two and Chapter three coming soon" I wonder if we have a few more bottles to look forward to? Will they be the Renaissance and the new Ten, or 2 others continuing the whirly series???

Just tried to order two bottles without a problem. Didn't finish the cc payment, but it seems to be no problem ordering more than one up to the point of paying. The shipping cost double which is not very nice.

I think that each purchase is scrutinized individually. And if you go for the double purchase they chuck your request in the bin.
