I thought this looked like an interesting read. I'm trying to download it to my nook - will follow up if I'm actually able to read it.

Just bought it on Amazon. First few pages seem promising.

I'm a bit further into it - haven't had much reading time even though it really is a short book.

I'm not overly impressed with the writing, but the topic, and the approach of the topic, is very enjoyable. So far, I like it. The personal stories of attempts and progress, and the stores that intertwine with general American history are fun despite a slight but noticeable slant.

Kind of a lackluster finish... similar to John Grisham books (no offense, John)
