Scotch - the formative years - Ross Wilson

Postby jmrl » Mon Dec 17, 2007 12:18 pm

Have sorted out my books and have some 'spares' if anybody is interested. I haven't got the time to put them all on at once I'm afraid so I'll probably drip feed them on to the forum. Spares can mean I found a second one in bettter condition than the one I've already got or an earlier print.

The first one is as post title. 1970 publication. isbn 09 456970 3, 501 pages, with dust jacket which is a little distressed. When I was building my collection this one proved ellusive, I don't think it was ever reprinted. Finding these books usually takes time searching book shops and always luck, until internet sites took a lot of the fun out of it (oops, guilty as charged).

A mighty tome it is full of info but a bit of a slog at times, don't expect lyrical descriptions or romantic nostalgia.

Any sensible offers welcome.

This is an elusive book and quite authoritative. Worth adding to any decent whisky library.
