MA Out Again

Just to let UK Members know I picked up the new Malt Advocate this afternoon at my local Borders.

It looks good. I will report further when I've read it properly.

I only read parts of this magazine once when I picked it up in the States. Unfortunately, I had it wrapped in one of those free city papers and left it somewhere, didn't get the chance to finish reading it. I'd like to give it a better chance cause I didn't get much out of it the little I did read.

I've lots of time for MA. Lots of fresh articles from talented writers. The latest edition explores Four roses Bourbon. A really fascinating tale. Don't know who wrote it though, they seemed to have an almost biased opinion of how good the whiksy was/is.

The MA often arrives late into the quarter but this time it seems Christmas celebrations have really slowed things down stateside. Perhaps complications like lost in transit or other gremlins have been at play I've not been at work since Saturday (I had the pleasure of applauding Gordon and Macphail beat us at the Off Licence News specialty spirits retailer of the year award in Londinium) Will advise on progress tomorrow. Has anybody else had supply problems?

There will be no next year. I'm not saying Armaggedon is nigh we've just been the bridesmaid once too often . I'll let the customer's praise massage my ego and let G & M pay another wage to polish the silverware.
