You can't but admire Bruichladdich's genius for publicity (especially when you consider the size of the operation compared to their competitors) but this is a poor book. It shows every sign of being thrown together quickly (typos etc) and appears to have been written by someone with only a superficial knowledge of the subject who has swallowed the Laddie version of life hook, line and sinker.
Considered as a 200 page promo brochure for Bruichladdich it's fine - as a serious book on whisky 'nul points'.
Forget even the Amazon price. Wait to pick it up in a remainder book store or off eBay!
