If you are German speaking, you might have come across Daniel Lerner's "Schottischer Whisky" (Köln: Könemann, 1998).
Laphroaig, so we learn, is a malt from the "Northern Highlands" (Iain Henderson, did you hear that?).
Longmorn, as he notes, smells "of toffee" and tastes "sweet" - whatever that means.
