This just in via Mr Broom.
The distillery has been raided for scrap. Thousands of pounds worth of equipment has been pilfered from the distillery. Police have said that copper stills and other items, all thought to be in good working order, have been swiped over a period of several weeks. They will probably be sold for scrap, a price ignoring their historic value and real monetary value.
The listed 169-year old Rosebank distillery in Camelon, Falkirk, closed in 1993.
