There’s a growing popularity in the United States for Isle of Jura single malt, so Whyte and Mackay has appointed one of the industry’s most knowledgeble characters to raise Jura’s profile stateside even further.
Former distillery manager Willie Tait has been appointed master distiller and ambassador to the brand. He has more than 30 years experience as a tunroom man, mash stillman and distillery manager at Isle of Jura.
Willie commented: “It is a great honour to be able to spread news of the product to whisky connoisseurs in the United States.”
