Berry Bros and Rudd has launched a new limited edition whisky in aid of the British Legion.
The 'Chairman's Choice' 1998 Laphroaig Single Malt from Port Ellen is limited to just under 298 bottles and 10 per cent of all profits will go to the charity.
Peter Cleminson, the Chairman of the British Legion, who selected the cask said, "I have long been a devotee of Islay malts with Laphroaig being a particular favourite. I am delighted to recommend this limited bottling of this very special 1998 distillation for your enjoyment". The British Legion will be allocated a percentage of the stock to sell through their outlets but it will be available through Berry Bros. until stocks run out. It will be priced at £44.95.
