Laphroaig marks anniversary

Friends of Laphroaig – the successful global loyalty programme of the popular Islay malt is celebrating its 10th anniversary. To mark the occasion the website http://www.laphroaig.com has been revamped with new features such as an interactive tasting wheel and a monthly lottery, and Laphroaig Distillery has produced 800 celebration bottles of limited edition 11 year old single malt – only available online at £25.

Although I was not able to join the Friends of Laphroaig, another tasting wheel can be found in a book called "Malt Whisky" by Charles MacLean. Just for your info, to join the Friends of Laphroig you need to have a bar code from a bottle of Laphroaig. Good Luck!
