Pillaged in a bottle

The Islay malt pillaged by Kevin Campbell and friends in an epic journey by boat to raise money for charity (featured in Issue 35) is now on the market. All 250 bottles, which were hand labelled and individually numbered by volunteers at Bruichladdich distillery, have all been snapped up by bidders – some offering up to £550. The whole venture has raised £12,900 each for two charities - the Islay Lifeboat and Cancer Research.
