Whisky Magazine contributing editor has picked a prestigious Glenfiddich Food and Drink Award for his outstanding book on rum.
He beat off fierce competition from authors across the world, including another great drinks connoisseur, Dale DeGroff. He was awarded the honour at a glamorous evening at London’s Hempel Hotel.
Dave was also short-listed in another category for his writing in Whisky Magazine but was narrowly pipped at the post.
