Still in good spirits after 40 years

Alex ‘Wardie’ Woodrow has recently celebrated his 40th year anniversary as stillman at Ardbeg. Born and raised under the shadow of the distillery and the longest serving member of the team, Alex has seen more than 15 million litres of malt whisky pass before his eyes.
