Visitors to the Glenmorangie distillery are being offered the chance to handfill a bottle of whisky in a secret storeroom where it is rumoured distillery workers hid their whisky from the prying eyes of the taxman.
This room, known by staff as the speakeasy, had been used as a tool store but has now been lovingly restored to how it would have looked, with panels and low lighting helping to create the special secretive atmosphere.
At the time of going to press a 13 year old first fill ex-bourbon cask was being bottled, available for £50 ($85)
a bottle.
