If you get the chance – visit Robert McTear’s auction house in Glasgow this December for an exciting whisky auction in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Donations have been made from all over the industry, and the auction will feature such lots as: a night for two at the Craigellachie Hotel in the heart of Speyside, with a complimentary dram in the famous Quaich Bar plus a signed bottle of the Double Single; many limited edition bottles signed exclusively by whisky celebrities, distillery managers, master distillers: and bottles of the House of Commons single malt signed by Prime Minister, Tony Blair.
Iain Banks, author and whisky lover will also be there auctioning a few lots and encouraging some competitive bidding.
So go along, dig deep and help find a cure for Cystic Fybrosis. It takes place at Robert McTear's, Skypark, Elliot Place, Glasgow at 10.30am on 8th December.
