The prestigious Balmoral hotel in Edinburgh has launched its own label single malt, a 12 year old Glenallachie. The whisky is described as a classic Speyside: silky, round and smooth with soaked almonds and a Hob-Nob finish.
Guests can enjoy a dram in the elegant Palm Court Bar or purchase a bottle in the Balmoral’s retail outlet. The whisky will also be placed in bedrooms during evening turndown service for all high-level VIPs, a nightcap in true Scottish style.
