Bowmore opens distillery doors

Morrison Bowmore is to expand the visitor facilities at each of its three distilleries; Bowmore, Auchentoshan and Glen Garioch.

In what is seen as a highly ambitious development project the company says the icing on the cake will be at Glen Garioch, where a visitor centre will be created in a former distillery warehouse.

Andrew Rankin, the company’s operations director commented:
“Consumers seek more and more information on the heritage of the whiskies they enjoy, and the heritage of each of Glen Garioch, Auchentoshan and Bowmore is something we have always been passionate about. We are delighted that we can expand the facilities
at each of the three distilleries, so that the public can share in
that heritage.”
