Tobermory has launched a 32 year old. The casks were laid down in 1972 and finished in Olorosa sherry casks. Whisky Magazine editor Dominic Roskrow described the nose as “prunes, rich fruits, wisps of wood smoke like embers from a dying fire,” with strawberry jam on the palate.

The whisky is priced at a respectable £175.
