Whisky Magazine’s contribution to the success of bourbon whiskey has been formally recognised by the induction of the magazine’s founder Damian Riley-Smith in to the prestigious Hall of Fame.

Each year a select few are honoured during the Kentucky Bourbon Festival by being inducted in to the Hall of Fame, where they take their place alongside the legends of Kentucky and the current master distillers.

Riley-Smith joined the likes of outstanding American whiskey writer John Hansell and acclaimed drinks consultant and cocktail maker Dale DeGroff on this year’s roster.

Whisky Magazine has tripled its coverage of American whiskey in the last three years, has profiled and promoted the sector through our international cocktails challenge, and focused on the top brands through special tasting events and the Best of the Best competition.
