Balblair has been celebrating its ‘Spirit of the Air’ title by an extensive season of outdoor and adventure sports events.
These included the European and British Blokart Championships in St Malo, France and Cornwall, UK, as well as the Kendal Mountain Film Festival.
Blokarting is one of the fastest growing sports in Europe, competitors reach speeds of 90km per hour along the beach in a kind of land yacht.
The annual film festival held in the UK’s Lake District was also said to be a huge success.
