Laphroaig has appointed a new manager to run the Islay distillery, and broken a couple of records in the process.
John Campbell, 35, is now the youngest distiller on the island and the first home-grown Ileach to run Laphroaig in its 190 year history. He succeeds Robin Shields who left late last year.
