Expensive cocktails seem to be the flavour of the month at the moment.
Woodford Reserve developed the most expensive mint julep ever to be sold in time for the Kentucky Derby. The cocktail cost £600 each and was made with one-of-a-kind ingredients, including a personal selection of Woodford Reserve bourbon, mint from Morocco, sugar from the South Pacific and Arctic water for the ice. To top it off, it was presented in a gold-plated cup and keepsake case.

Cheap at half the price compared to ‘The Golden Centini’ created by The Westin Turnberry Resort in Ayrshire, which would set you back £1906.
This cocktail, created to celebrate the luxury resort’s 100th anniversary (1906 was the year the hotel opened), is made from some of the
most expensive spirits available: Glenfiddich 1977 private vintage, Grand Marnier Cent Cinquantenaire and Dom Perignon 1966.
