Whisky Live in Tokyo.

I hear that there will be a whisky cocktail bar at the Tokyo event in February, staffed entirely by female bartenders- has anybody heard about this?

Hello Pete,
No, I don't know a thing about an all female bartender event. I just wish I could fly down to Tokyo to attend the Whisky Live. But, considering that it would cost me somewhere between 50,000 and 100,000 yen make the trip, I would rather spend the money on whiskey...

Ed,

Very enjoyable (sorry for the delay in reply; I'm only getting over it now!)

The female bartenders looked great and the cocktails were delicious; I had one made with a Japanese blend plus a passion fruit liqueur and orange marmalade!

The place was very busy- I think well over 2,000 people in all.

Hello Pete,
Wish I could have gone, maybe next year. I did go to the Yoichi Distillery and enjoyed to tour. I went on a Sunday in mid February so no one was working. Next time I go I will call ahead to make sure the stills are running.
