Glenfarclas 105

Yes, a bit decieving on my side of things. I just recieved a note from Glenfarclas that they will be releasing a 40 yo 105. 893 bottles worth. I don't know the price but would love to know what all you folks think of this offering.

Hi, it cost 550£
For me just a marketing product.

It'll probably be great for those that can afford it. The well aged Glenfarcals's I've tasted were excellent!

Cheers!

Agreed wave. Glenfarclas ages well. Too much money for me though. There are indy bottles at that age for round about £100-£150.

Pretty sure I saw this one reviewed in Jim Murray's 09 Whisky Bible...guess he got an early taste. I don't remember his notes, but I recall this getting a great score (i.e. 90+).
