Balvenie single cask 15yr -How old is yours ?

Hi, I seen an earlier post on this somewhere but as a new user on here I cannot find it.
Anyway I have a Balvenie single cask 15yr old which was casked in Oct 1989 and bottled in June 2008. This is 18yrs and 8 months
Can any one beat this one ? ?

Hi,
I've sent a PM at Balvenie for the same question as you.

The response:
"You have chosen a fine bottle of our whisky and I can assure you that is quite normal to find an older whisky in your bottle. Our Malt Master, David Stewart, will sometimes use an older whisky to produce a perfect quality whisky, usually he uses a 15 year old cask as the youngest."

Hi ...I have a bottle of balvenie single malt..aged 15 years and bottling date is 22.1.95...Incask date 22.1.77...old enough? Its unopened and perfect in all way.

I love this whisky...

My bottles: 27/04/93 - 06/06/08, 12/01/94-24/03/09, 08/12/93-12/02/09.

Have two more but not with me at the moment. I know I know, excessive!

15 years and 12 days.

So while not a bottle that has the 'bonus' age of some listed in this thread - still a beautifully drinking whisky from the honey and vanilla nose that greets you upon pouring to the warm peppery mid-length finish. This is a winner.
