I must return to my notes but I believe I recently had the Tomintoul 40 yo (1967). At the time, I had no idea on the pricing. I thought it was a decent dram although it was getting a little long in the tooth. Characterisitics that come to mind are woody, lightly spiced.
I must confess that I've not been a huge fan of Tomintoul so fans of this distillery may like it more.
