Do you guys think buying a few bottles of this to hold on to would be a good investment?

To expand a little on Nick's statement here. It isn't just a matter of increase but also a matter of how long you are willing to hold onto the whisky to show a gain.

There seems to have been an uptick in the number of people looking to invest in whiskies. This may signal the same thing as happened in coin collecting. That is, so many people saved them that some releases are yet to show any increase. Based on this, it may be quite some time for some releases to be consumed enough to have an effect on the selling price point.

This isn't to suggest to you that this will or will not increase in price but give it some consideration. Remember we're not placing the money into the whisky; you are.
