I am not sure if that is the exact cask I have but my current bottle is an 18 yr that was distilled and bottled in those same years. I am no good at tasting notes but I really like this one.

Never had that cask but I have never been disappointed with the Balvenie 15y Single Cask ... and while working at the Bar and doing tastings, I have probably sampled at least 8-10 different casks.

thanks for the comments, after tasting it last night, I agree.

very nice, no rough edges like some single cask bottlings have.

not a great deal of complexity but very smooth.
