Whisky liquors

I was just remembering about the time I went round the Edradour distillery with Mrs ClubSmed. Now Mrs ClubSmed does not drink whisky (thankfully as I would have none left) but on the tour you get a choice of a dram of Edradour 10 Whisky or Edradour Cream Liquor. The Cream Liquor is very nice, not much like Bailey, more like liquid Malt Biscuits.

Anyhow, my question is what Malt liquors have you tried and what where they like?

The Macallan Amber:




Like a whisky syrup... need to try some on pancakes!!!... the pecan and maple combo is pretty strong for trying just as a drink... but I got plenty to play around with.

Recollection was that the Macallan seemed like it was necessary to pour the liqueur right on the stack of flapjacks.

I do like drambuie...thats about if for my experience of them
