Hi Whiskeyjack
Not sure where you are based but I'll assume the UK for my comments.
The Rosebank is still relatively easy to find in the shops. I think it originally retailed at £125 and now as stocks are dwindling the average price has risen to around £150, plus or minus a few pounds.
Assuming you undercut the shops as a private seller (without overheads and tax) I suggest you might expect to get around £120-£130. Of course you might get a little more if your buyer hasn't looked too hard in the shops or online.
It's a really nice whisky and reasonably limited but, given its price and recent issue date, I suspect that most bottles have been tucked away in the current collecting boom and this will ensure a trickle of supply to keep private sale prices down for a while at least. Just my thoughts...
Cheers,
Douglas
