Batches of Ardbeg 1977

Hi guys,

I recently discovered a shop with some Ardbeg 1977 on the shelf at a price slightly below some internet auction sites (though at no real savings). My question I this: what is the difference, if any, of the batches of L1-L4 that you have experienced of Ardbeg 1977? I have only direct knowledge of batch L4 266 that was shipped to Italy. It was superb! I don't know yet the bottling codes of those for sale but, obviously, if it is the same of the one I had, I will grab a bottle. Is there any noticeable difference among the batches of Ardbeg 1977? Any experiential insight would be much appreciated.

Sorry dont know. Malt maniacs scored both the L1 and L2 around 90. I want to know how much the 77's are at your shop. I paid 196 euro for mine and i thought it was a lot.
