Wild Turkey 101--rate it!

Working out of town for a few days and enjoying a pint bottle of the WT 101. Man I do love this stuff for the price, kind of reminds me of a Highland SMS! Tell me what you think of it.

I voted "it's good for the money". A very enjoyable whiskey for under $20 but I wouldn't pay $50 for it.

Actually Tali 10 I misquoted previously the price of the 101 in Australia. The standard Wild Turkey in Australia is AUD$40-45, the 101 more like AUD$55.

Wild Turkey is a no-nonsense type bourbon. It along with Old Grand Dads were favorites in me youth, great for that after work boiler maker!

I probably would/will buy another bottle - something I certainly didn't think at the beginning of the bottle.

I voted 'love it' Nick, which merely goes to show that we're doing the 'heads or tails' thing, even though we're looking at the very same coin!

I agree that complexity wise, the WT101 won't necessarily win any Gold Medals. But it's just such a darn gutsy spirit, that it's hard not to fall for its charms.

For the price it is great. Especially on a cold Buffalo winter night......or day Just enough bite. Gotta love bourbons and ryes!!!!
