Jameson 15yo Pure Pot Still Limited Edition

Postby SSL » Wed Mar 10, 2010 12:28 am

I am hoping all you whiskey experts can help me.
I have an unopened bottle of this special whiskey - bottle number 00494, in the box, totally new. I even have the white cardboard sleeve that it is packaged in when delivered.
How much is this worth and what is the best way to sell it?
Thank you!

Hi,

This retails for E300ish in specialist shops in Ireland so expect less from ebay or a collector. Again something is only worth what someone will pay for it.

Posting a picture and your location will make it easier to give a more definite answer.

Hi there,

There are two versions of this in existence, one produced around the Millennium and one slightly earlier. The green box it comes in will say Millennium in the description and this is probably the one you have. About 200 casks of this whiskey were vatted and bottled (c. 60,000 bottles) and it is becoming more difficult to find!

Pure Pot Still whiskey and there is a reasonable demand from Irish Whiskey drinkers for this bottling (for consumption), these bottles sometimes achieve around €150 on e-Bay.

Cheers
